Ascension's Via Christi, St Francis in Wichita, KS seeks a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift, full-time, in the Ortho Neuro Surgical Trauma specialty.

You will deliver compassionate nursing care, follow evidence-based protocols, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate care across the team to ensure safe, effective recovery and smooth discharge planning. Sign-on bonus up to $12,500 and tuition discounts through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Qualificações

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing at the time of hire.

• Lead the delivery of compassionate, direct nursing care by following evidence-based protocols to ensure every patient receives safe and exceptional treatment.
• Advocate for patient wellness by continuously monitoring conditions and communicating vital updates to the care team, ensuring no detail in their recovery is overlooked.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the central point of contact between physicians and specialists, creating a seamless and unified healing environment.
• Drive successful patient transitions by proactively managing discharge planning, ensuring patients and their families are empowered and prepared for the next stage of their journey.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
