Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune Township, NJ seeks a Patient Care Technician to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, focusing on safety, comfort, and satisfaction for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include collecting vitals, drawing blood, performing EKGs, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating on care plans to ensure smooth transitions from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• Minimum healthcare credentialing through a PCT/CNA/MA program or apprenticeship.
• Experience with phlebotomy, EKG and vitals is preferred.
• Ability to work within interdisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age, safety, and comfort under RN supervision.
• Document vitals, collect specimens, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Perform EKGs and assist with daily activities and comfort measures.
• Collaborate on care plans to ensure smooth admission to discharge transitions.
