Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support a patient population under RN supervision. You will deliver direct and indirect care, promote patient comfort and safety, and communicate patient status to the care team.

Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, EKG, phlebotomy, and assisting with daily activities to ensure high-quality care. A strong teamwork mindset and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent or eligible for HMH PCT Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient data and communicate with healthcare team.
• Participate in unit PI activities.
• Follow department protocols and ensure equipment readiness.
