Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of a licensed clinician.
• Communicate observations to the RN regarding patient status and changes.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with moving, lifting, positioning, and transporting patients using proper safety techniques.
• Perform basic clinical tasks as assigned (EKGs, specimen labeling, vital signs).
• Maintain attendance and comply with departmental policies.
