UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician I to join our team. This role supports the licensed clinicians by delivering direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and preparing equipment for procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Under supervision, you will perform EKGs, POC tests, basic specimen handling, and safety checks while following unit standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Mansioni

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about patient observations.
• Maintain constant observation for high‑risk patients as assigned.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility of patients.
• Support treatments and procedures under supervision and prep equipment as needed.
