Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe care environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required; CNA or CPCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and data and report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support.
• Aid with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes and privacy protection.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
