Job summary

The Little Clinic in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support daily operations under the on-duty nurse practitioner/physician assistant. The role focuses on maximizing patient flow and delivering a stellar patient experience, including accurate EHR documentation in accordance with policy.

You will greet patients, assist in front area, manage waiting room flow, verify identities, collect payments and insurance information, and help maintain a clean, safe clinic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and experience with EHR systems preferred.
• Strong administrative, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Excellent customer service and task-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, survey-ready healthcare environment as required to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation.
• Greet customers or potential patients in the front area.
• Clean and organize the clinic space daily and disinfect equipment.
• Verify patient identity and determine payment options; collect payments and log in the EHR.
• Manage waiting room flow using queue, appointment tools, and patient kiosks.
• Enter patient data and history into the EHR per policy.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Respond to phones and patient/provider calls per policy.
• Prepare for off-site events and assist with specimen collection as needed.
• Maintain documentation and support for efficient clinic operations.
