Job summary

The Little Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to help maximize patient flow while delivering a stellar patient experience. You will perform administrative tasks, including EHR documentation, in line with company policy and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity and safety.

You will greet patients, manage front-area communications, assist with registrations, collect payments and insurance information, and help maintain a clean, survey-ready healthcare environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based, survey-ready healthcare environment as required to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation.
• Greet customers or potential patients in the front area or near the clinic.
• Clean and organize the clinic space daily, including waste removal, supply logging, and disinfection of rooms and equipment.
• Handle registration and patient flow using the queue, appointment tools, and kiosks.
• Verify patient identity using government-issued ID while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Collect payments and insurance information and log in the EHR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document chief complaints and vital signs where required.
• Provide guidance on registration, wait times, services, and payment methods to waiting patients.
