Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to support the care team under RN/LPN supervision. The role focuses on activities of daily living, vital signs, and routine patient support to ensure high-quality care near the patient’s home.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a PCT/CNA program or equivalent experience. On-site day shift with a 24-hour weekly commitment and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic patient care skills and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and family.
• Maintains standards of professional ethics.
• Performs technical duties as directed by RN/LPN, such as vital signs, point of care testing, bladder scanning and Foley care.
• Reinforces education and participates in patient satisfaction and performance improvement.
