Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ, is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living and support the care team under RN/LPN supervision. You will help with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and safety while communicating with patients and families and maintaining professional ethics.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a PCT/CNA program or RN fundamentals, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires basic patient care skills and strong communication.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED and completion of a PCT or CNA program or RN fundamentals course.
• BLS certification is required; phlebotomy training may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility.
• Perform vital signs and point of care tasks; may perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Document changes in patient status and communicate with RN/LPN; reinforce patient education.
