Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. Qualifications

• 0-2 years in acute care or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated care tasks and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Record vital signs and other data, and report to RN/LPN/LVNs as required.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes and elimination needs.
• Assist with patient positioning and mobility using aids like walkers or wheelchairs.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
