Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support bedside care under RN/LPN supervision. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient safety, and help maintain a clean, organized care environment in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will document vital signs, support meals and mobility, and communicate effectively with the care team while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs and intake/output.
• Assists with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility.
• Supports patient positioning and use of mobility aids.
• Performs blood glucose monitoring and reports results to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Maintains infection control and adherence to PPE policies.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team.
