Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in New Jersey. The role provides hands-on support under RN supervision, focusing on safe, compassionate care for diverse patients.

You’ll perform vital signs, basic nursing tasks, phlebotomy and EKGs, and help with admissions and daily activities, while maintaining a clean, safe patient environment and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of one of the following: CNA, MA or PCT program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to patient needs.
• Teamwork and communication with RN and care team.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care based on age-specific needs and criteria.
• Monitor and document vitals, and notify RN of abnormal results.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as directed.
• Conduct EKGs and ensure equipment readiness.
• Assist with admissions, transport, and daily activities.
• Participate in PI activities and uphold safety.
