Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Montana CNA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation and comfort; deliver excellent customer service to patients and families.
• Document and report patient care findings and data promptly.
• Notify supervisors of changes in patient condition and seek assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and assist as a patient care attendant; monitor patients and collaborate with the care team.
• Assist in medication transport on clinical units as required.
• Coordinate with RNs and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties (phone, orders, unit records, supplies) when needed.
• Follow plan of care and perform duties within scope of practice.
• Execute specialized procedures with appropriate skill and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety by following policy and acting appropriately in emergencies.
