Ascension Health is hiring for a Full-time Night Shift role in Nashville, TN, within the Cardiac Transplant LVAD department. The role involves assisting with patient movement, personal care, reporting changes to nursing staff, and maintaining patient rooms and medical equipment.

Minimum requirements include a BLS certificate within 1 month of hire; Nurse Aide preferred. Education can be substituted by licensure/certification where applicable.

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.

• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.

• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
