Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, seeks a Day Shift, Full-time Nurse Aide to join the Spine department. The role involves taking vital signs, monitoring fluid intake/output, performing phlebotomy, and providing direct patient care to support comfort and mobility.

A strong focus on safety and patient-centered care is essential. Minimum requirements include BLS certification within 30 days of hire; Nurse Aide preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide certification or experience preferred.

• Obtains and records vital signs, accurately charting patient data and promptly reporting abnormal findings.
• Monitors and documents fluid intake and output, supporting safe patient care and clinical decision-making.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
