Wilmington SurgCare in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support medical staff and assist in patient care under supervision. Responsibilities include preparing post-op kits, sterilizing instruments, and guiding patients and doctors to the correct rooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient care under supervision.
• Prepare post-op kits and sterilize instruments.
• Direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms.
• Set up patients for required testing and visual fields.
• Maintain supplies and keep waiting rooms orderly.
