Job summary

Riverton Surgery Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join their team.

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a patient care tech program preferred (CNA) with at least six months related experience.
• Current American Heart Association certification.
• BLS certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff with patient care and direct patients to the appropriate rooms.
• Set up patients for required testing and keep instruments sterile.
• Maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.
