Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or equivalent.
• Completion of an EMT/Paramedic program with at least six months of experience as EMT/EMTP preferred.
• Nursing student in RN program with clinical rotation or graduate of approved nursing program (LPN/RN) required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies, safety standards, and SPIRIT Values.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Collects specimens (blood, urine, stool), performs venipuncture, obtains EKGs, and monitors physiologic data.
• Records intake/output, vital signs, height/weight, and clinical data in health records.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity, assists with examinations and procedures.
