Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the District of Columbia or relevant jurisdiction
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days
• Nursing student (RN program) with at least one year of clinical rotation or graduate of approved nursing program (LPN/RN)

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene tasks.
• Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Obtain EKGs and monitor physiologic data.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other health information.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and assist providers and RNs.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort; document care.
• Assist with transfers, transports, and discharge processes.
