Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston Hospital seeks a Part-Time Patient Care Tech to support the nursing team. You will work under a RN to deliver direct patient care and perform vital signs, Foley removals, and basic nursing tasks. Eligible to work in the U.S. with CNA training preferred and BLS certification required.

The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, with hours Mon-Fri 7:00 am–3:30 pm and rotating weekends. Prior nursing assistant experience or customer service background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical setting preferred
• Current BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs, 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter removal, IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, glucose checks, feeding
• Assist with implementing patient-specific care plans
• Participate in activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience
