Job summary

Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join the unit and support nursing staff in delivering compassionate patient care. This part-time role is 32 hours per week, with shifts 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday through Friday and rotating weekends, requiring reliable, patient-focused engagement.

You will assist with vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and daily activities, helping implement individual care plans and contributing to a safe, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. with CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under RN supervision to deliver patient care.
• Assist with vital signs, EKGs, bladder ultrasound, catheter and IV tasks, specimen collection, bathing and turning.
• Support the patient care plan and daily unit operations.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
