Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is part-time (32 hr/wk) with a 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.

You will assist with patient care tasks under a RN, including vital signs, EKG, and daily treatments to support patient flow and safety. Ideal candidates have CNA training or nursing rotation experience and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: eligible to work in the U.S., CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation in med/surgical.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• License: N/A

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, IV adapter removal, specimen collection, bathing, turning, feeding, and admissions.
• Support implementation of patient care plans and unit safety.
• Participate in activities essential to the patient care unit.
• Contribute to high-quality patient experience and safety outcomes.
