Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Evanston Hospital with rotations across Cardiac/Stroke, Neurology/Urology, Oncology, and Med/Surg areas. Full and Part Time hours, 24-40 per week, with rotating shifts Monday–Friday and weekends, in Evanston, IL.
You will assist a RN in delivering patient care, perform vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, specimen collection, bathing, ambulation, turning, hourly rounding, and discharge prep, while contributing to safety and a high-quality patient
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S., and CNA training preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
- 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vital signs and EKGs under RN supervision.
- Aid with bathing, ambulation, turning, and daily care activities.
- Assist with intake, discharge prep, and specimen collection as needed.
- Support implementation of patient care plans and safety initiatives.
- Contribute to high-quality patient experience in the unit.
