Job summary

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and listed on the Illinois CNA Registry.
- BLS through American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Performs clinical/patient care tasks under RN or physician supervision.
- Collects, labels and transports specimens as assigned.
- Obtains 12 lead EKGs and assists with urinary catheters and telemetry.
- Performs Bladder Scan and Point of Care Tests as appropriate.
- Assists with personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation and positioning.
- Responds promptly to patient call lights and maintains a safe care environment.
