Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Patient Care Tech (CNA) to support nursing staff and patients with compassionate, safe care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will collect specimens, assist with hygiene, monitor patients, and help with mobility under RN guidance, while following care plans and safety protocols. Join a team focused on exceptional patient experience and ongoing education with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and listed on the Illinois CNA Registry.
• BLS through American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical/patient care tasks under RN or physician supervision.
• Collects, labels and transports specimens as assigned.
• Obtains 12 lead EKGs and assists with urinary catheters and telemetry.
• Performs Bladder Scan and Point of Care Tests as appropriate.
• Assists with personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation and positioning.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and maintains a safe care environment.
