Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Patient Care Tech for day shifts. You will support clinical staff with direct patient care and assist with tests and procedures as assigned. Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Completion of CNA program or CNA registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by a Radiologic Technologist.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Responds to patient calls and ensures safety and comfort.
• Measures vital signs and documents in health records.
• Sets up equipment and prepares patients and rooms for procedures.
• Performs or assists with emergency support and post-mortem care.
