Trinity Health is hiring a Patient Care Tech for MercyOne Central Iowa in Des Moines. The role supports clinical staff, provides direct patient care, and assists with tests as assigned. Schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Completion of CNA program or CNA Registry.
• RN program enrollment or RN/LPN program completion or military medical specialty substituted for CNA.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within six weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training within three months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Delivers patient care and treatment as delegated by a Radiologic Technologist.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, bathing, ambulation, feeding).
• Responds to patient calls and ensures safety and comfort through rounding and safe handling.
• Measures vital signs and documents in patient health records.
• Initiates or assists with emergency measures (CPR) as needed.
• Prepares patients and rooms for procedures and assists with admissions/transfers.
