Qualifications

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Performs or assists patients with activities including personal hygiene, bathing, ambulation, transporting, range of motion exercises, dressing/undressing, feeding, changing bandages, elimination needs, and emptying drainage devices.
• Responds to patient calls and ensures patient safety and comfort through safe patient handling, rounding, and equipment maintenance.
• Calculates intake and output, measures vital signs, performs bedside glucose testing, and documents in patient records.

• Delivers patient care per RN/LPN delegation.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Responds to calls and maintains patient safety.
• Performs or assists with vital signs and specimen handling.
• Sets up equipment for procedures and helps prepare patients and rooms.
• Observes changes in patient condition and reports to nurse.
