Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Mandatory Reporter Training completed within 3 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certified within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Responds to patient calls and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Measures vital signs and collects specimens as needed.
• Prepares patients and rooms for procedures, admissions, and transfers.
• Discharges patients from the system as required.
• Initiates emergency support measures when needed.
