Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Colorado.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, fresh water and ice, ambulating and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings and data in a timely manner; notify changes in condition with qualified assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as required on the unit; collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team.
• May transport medications from the delivery system to the RN as required.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties such as answering phones, transcribing orders, and maintaining unit records.
