Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks a Med/Tele Patient Care Tech/CNA for full-time, benefits-eligible work in a medical-surgical setting under RN supervision. Qualifications

• Current C.N.A. license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care/behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Performs hourly rounds with focus on 5 P's (pain, potty, position, peripheral, alerting RN to IV issues).
• Performs patient care respecting age-related standards (pediatric, geriatric, general population).
• Operates to optimize patient safety and reduce medical errors.
