Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Critical Care Technician to join the full-time team in Sparks, NV. The role supports direct and indirect patient care, monitors cardiac rhythms, and coordinates with the nursing staff to ensure timely care.

The position requires CNA, monitor tech certification, and BLS. Regular duties include charting, stocking, and assisting RNs in patient care and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Monitor tech certificate (if not certified upon hire, must obtain during initial orientation).
• Certified Nursing Assistant
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor ECG signals at the central monitoring station and notify RN of any changes.
• Maintain department logbooks and coordinate unit activities with the Charge Nurse.
• Assist RN with patient care needs and ensure supplies and rooms are stocked daily.

Education
