Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Med/Tele Patient Care Tech/CNA for a full-time position with comprehensive benefits. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical-surgical setting under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor, and you may float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities include bedside shift reports, hourly rounds, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prefer one year of experience in an acute care or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical-surgical setting under RN supervision.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with the RN preceptor and document diagnostic results.
• Float to all units as needed and participate in CQI activities.
• Assist with patient rounds and ensure patient safety and comfort.
