Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under supervision. The role supports the healthcare team and upholds Service Excellence while adhering to facility policies and nursing standards.

Provides leadership in patient care and ensures timely communication among the care team. This position emphasizes compassionate, team-based care within a 170-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is providedwith names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks
• Involves thee patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care
