Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide indirect patient care under the supervision of the Critical Care RN. The role includes monitoring cardiac rhythms, assisting with patient care, and ensuring unit supplies are stocked for safe, efficient care.

The position requires CNA certification in Nevada, current BLS, and competency in advanced cardiac rhythm monitoring within six months.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in Nevada.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Advanced cardiac rhythm competency within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of Healthstream course AACN: Essentials of ECG & Dysrhythmia Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides indirect patient care and assigned tasks in the department setting under the direct supervision of the Critical Care RN.
• Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors and notifies RN of changes.
• Assists RN with patient care needs and restocks unit supplies.
• Transcribes physician orders and coordinates clerical functions.
• Maintains regulatory body requirements and participates in performance improvement activities.
