Responsibilities

• Maximize patient flow through the clinic while providing a stellar patient experience.
• Perform administrative tasks, including EHR documentation, per policy.
• Greet customers and manage front desk areas in and around the clinic.
• Verify patient identity and determine payment method, including insurance options.
• Collect insurance information and payments, and log in the EHR.
• Scan documents or cue provider for necessary scanning.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and note chief complaints.
• Take vital signs and patient history as competencies allow, entering data in EHR.
• Answer phones, respond to questions, and complete daily callbacks.
• Assist with off-site events as needed.
• Prepare weekly supply orders for provider approval; package and ship laboratory specimens.
