One Medical is seeking a Patient Care Specialist (Phlebotomist) to deliver venipuncture and clinical support in a Miami office. You’ll greet patients, manage intake and scheduling, and assist providers with clerical tasks while upholding One Medical’s exceptional care standard.

You will use a range of tech tools, maintain high standards for specimen handling, and support patients through a compassionate, service-first approach.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus).
• A proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process while delivering individualized, human-centered, customer-focused care.
• A proven track record of persisting through change, consistently stepping up to take action on challenges, and learning quickly and effectively when faced with new situations or tasks.

Responsabilités

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid in-office experience.
• Provide best in class venipuncture services for a broad age range.
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, tests).
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization.
• Answer patient messages, follow up on lab cases, and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Handle front of house duties including check in/out, insurance verification, and prep tasks.
• Contribute to team development through rounds, team huddles, and problem solving.
• Perform opening/closing duties and keep spaces organized and stocked.
• Master Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and our EMR to complete daily work.
