Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years in administrative, patient access, customer service, or healthcare support.
• Experience with front office operations, scheduling, registration, and patient communication.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, or medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient with EMR, scheduling, and standard office software.
• Strong communication, service orientation, attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, visit preparation, and follow-up activities across care center workflows.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, referral details, and required documentation for visits.
• Respond to patient calls, messages, and front desk inquiries with accurate information.
• Identify scheduling gaps and missing documentation and resolve routine issues.
• Route clinical messages, refill requests, forms, and inquiries to the care team.
• Maintain accurate records in EMR, scheduling, and patient communication systems.
• Support daily front office workflow by prioritizing tasks and escalating issues when needed.
