Job summary

ForMotion Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to ensure an excellent patient experience and support clinic operations. You will greet patients, register them, and manage paperwork while coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow.

The role involves EMR data entry, appointment scheduling, and assisting with insurance verification and billing processes to support timely delivery of patient devices and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• 1-2 years of healthcare and medical office experience preferred using EMR systems or equivalent skill set.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, and support clinic operations.
• Schedule appointments and verify/update patient demographics, referrals and insurance in the EMR.
• Maintain complete patient records in the EMR per company policies.
• Assist in obtaining authorizations and pricing items per insurance guidelines.
• Provide administrative support and help drive operational efficiencies.
• Assist in marketing efforts and maintain professional relationships with patients and referrals.
