Crossover Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinic team and deliver an exceptional patient experience from the moment guests walk in the door. You will support clinicians, take histories, measure vitals, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient environment.

In this role you will handle front-end tasks, manage supplies, administer medications within scope, and communicate clearly with patients and the care team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• Minimum of 2 years comparable clinical back office medical assistant experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Handles all guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Resolves customer complaints; assists customers with inquiries regarding clinic services and hours.
• Takes medical histories, measures patient vitals, and collects pertinent information to assist clinicians.
• Handles inventory, orders, and replenishes medical supplies and materials.
• Administers medications, including injections, within scope of practice.
• Manages multi-line phone system, answers calls, schedules appointments, responds to emails, and communicates effectively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
