Össur’s ForMotion clinic is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to enhance patient experience and support clinic operations. You will handle patient check-in, charting, intake forms, and insurance verifications while assisting clinical staff to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare and medical office experience preferred using EMR systems or equivalent skill set.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and support clinic operations.
• Schedule appointments and verify patient demographics, referrals, and insurance in the EMR.
• Obtain insurance cards, licenses, and documentation and scan into the EMR.
• Maintain complete patient records per company policies and ensure chart completeness.
• Assist in obtaining prior authorizations when required by payer and support billing processes.
• Provide administrative support and strive for a paperless environment using technology to drive efficiency.
