Monday–Friday 7:15AM - 5:00PM. Schedule may vary.

Overview

As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician’s office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. In this role, you will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Education

• HS Diploma (Required)
• Associate Level degree or higher in lieu of the required experience will be considered

Experience

• 3 years Customer Service experience (Required)

The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
