Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Manager of Patient Care to lead patient care operations and resource utilization, guiding clinical teams and ensuring regulatory compliance across services.

The role requires RN licensure in PA, progressive management experience, and expertise in BLS/ACLS, with preference for BSN and Master’s credentials. Responsibilities include coordinating hospital supervision, specialty programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program with RN license in PA.
• Bachelor of Nursing preferred; enrollment or promotion timing specified.
• Progressive management experience required with staff supervision.
• BLS/ACLS; critical care experience; cardiac and stroke protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains daily operations and resource utilization across patient care areas.
• Provides clinical leadership for code blue and rapid response teams.
• Provides administrative oversight of hospital supervisors and other departments as assigned.
• Oversees blood management, chest pain center accreditation program and other specialty services with regulatory compliance, data collection, education and auditing.
• Assesses processes for relevance and efficiency and develops best practice standards.
