Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Manager of Patient Care to lead clinical and operational functions within patient care areas.

The role focuses on resource utilization, code blue and rapid response leadership, and coordination of specialty programs and services to improve efficiency and patient care outcomes. The position requires progressive nursing management experience and an RN license, with a BSN preferred and timelines for BSN completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in Pennsylvania or seeking licensure via endorsement.
• Bachelor of Nursing preferred; enrollment in BSN required upon hire or promotion; BSN within 5 years.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains daily operations and resource utilization across patient care areas.
• Provides clinical leadership for code blue and rapid response teams.
• Oversees hospital supervisors and assigned departments.
• Oversees blood management, chest pain center accreditation, and other programs including regulatory requirements, data collection, education and auditing.
• Assesses processes for relevance and efficiency and develops best practice standards.
