Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs secretarial and clerical support for the Director of Patient Care Services and PCS Managers as directed
• Transcribes correspondence, types policies and procedures, memos, reports, budgets and other materials required for the Director and/or assigned staff in an accurate and timely manner
• Answers telephones, directs calls to appropriate individuals or departments; records and conveys clear messages and prioritizes incoming calls for the Director
• Schedules PCS departmental meetings as directed; notifies appropriate personnel; attends meetings, records and transcribes accurate meeting minutes in a timely manner
• Provides back‑up telephone support and secretarial support for Administrator, Directors and PCS Managers
• Keeps calendar accurate and up‑to‑date, schedules meetings in an organized and timely manner. Balances department commitments and ensures schedules do not overlap
• Screens telephone calls and greets visitors in a courteous and professional manner and directs them to appropriate individuals who can handle their request, question, or problem
