Job summary

Qualifications

A High School diploma or GED. 1-year Customer Service, office, or related experience. Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for patients and families, guiding them through scheduling and visits.
Schedule appointments and prepare paperwork before patient visits.
Enter all information in the EHR and relay session details to billing.
Process charges for clinic services and file insurance claims.
Respond to information requests from patients and insurers and maintain department records.
Possibly handle cash transactions as part of duties.
Represent the organization at community events and meetings as needed.
