Job summary

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center correctional facility medical clinic seeks an administrative support professional to ensure smooth operations, act as the primary patient contact, and prepare paperwork before visits.

You will receive patients, maintain records, and coordinate clinic services while responding to requests for patient information in a medical clinic setting with ongoing collaboration among patients, staff, and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of customer service, office or related experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supports TTUHSC values-based culture.
• Complies with TTUHSC and policy procedures including necessary paperwork.
• Order supplies and pick up as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of capital equipment and repair.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and other unit departments.
• Pick up boxes when delivered by UPS/FedEx/mailroom.
