Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer calls, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider calendars.
• Confirm and remind appointments to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance and enter patient data in EMR accurately.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation before visits.
• Collect and record charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR.
• Run revenue reports to ensure billing is up to date.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules to reduce bottlenecks.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate care transitions with clinical/optical teams.
• Support recall and follow-up for retention and annual visits.
• Maintain organized, clean front office; perform other duties as needed.
