AEG Vision is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations and support patient flow across the care team. You will coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and maintain EMR data to ensure a smooth, high-quality patient experience.

The role emphasizes clear communication, collaboration with clinical and optical teams, and proactive scheduling to optimize daily patient encounters. This full‑time position is onsite in a patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and teams.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors professionally; be the primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails promptly.
• Schedule patient appointments and optimize provider schedules; handle cancellations and reschedules.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows and prepare patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics; input data into EMR accurately.
