AEG Vision is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations, patient flow, and care team coordination. You will greet patients, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and maintain accurate EMR records, ensuring a smooth, patient-centered experience from check-in to checkout.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong organizational and communication abilities to thrive in a fast-paced eye care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn practice management systems (EMR).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a patient-centered approach.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across clinical and optical teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; be the primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule patient appointments and support provider schedules.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance and patient demographics; enter data into EMR accurately.
• Maintain patient charts and collect charges and payments in EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules to optimize operations.
• Support patient retention through recalls and follow-ups.
